How do I create an account?
Download the app from the App Store, tap 'Sign Up' and choose whether you're a client looking for bands or a musician looking to get booked. Follow the prompts to set up your profile.
How do I book a band?
Browse bands by genre, location, or availability. When you find one you like, tap 'Book Now' to propose dates and discuss details through our built-in messaging system.
What if I need to cancel a booking?
You can cancel a booking from your dashboard. Our cancellation policy varies depending on how close to the event date you're cancelling — check the booking details for specific terms.
How does payment work?
Clients pay a down payment through our secure platform powered by Stripe. Funds are held safely until the event is completed, then released to the band.
Is BookABand free to use?
Yes! Creating a profile, browsing bands, messaging, and basic booking management are completely free. We also offer a Pro plan with advanced features for $9/month.
How do I get listed as a band?
Download the app, sign up as a band, and complete your profile with photos, videos, genres, and your availability. You'll start appearing in search results right away.
